The idea

the idea would be to create 2 monitoring stations:

• Braschi borough
• High School Spallanzani

The locations were selected based on the availability of public land and WiFi connections, as well as differences in traffic and therefore pollution. For example, Nazioni Unite Square is a busy area, with lots of car traffic, the high school is near a bus station, and the town hall and library are located in a mostly car free zone.

Material

Every location will have a standard monitoring station, composed of:

• ESP8266
  • Equipped with a Bosch Sensortec Industrial BME680 for the actual monitoring. The AQI number is calculated using Bosch’s proprietary BSEC algorithm. More detail below.
• 2200mAh — Maybe? Battery life
• 3D-Printed Case
• 3D-Printed UV protection case
